Design and Software
The Vivo V60 is tipped to arrive as a modified version of the Vivo S30, which was launched earlier in China.
While the official design has not yet been confirmed, it is likely to retain many aspects of the S30, including the overall aesthetics.
What sets the V60 apart is the introduction of OriginOS internationally—a significant change from Vivo’s traditional FuntouchOS for global users.
Display and Performance
Leaks suggest that the Vivo V60 will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (1,260 × 2,800 pixels) and support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, providing mid-to-high range performance.
It may come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, depending on the variant.
Camera Specifications
On the camera front, the V60 is rumored to inherit the triple camera setup from the Vivo S30.
This includes a 50MP Sony LYT700V main sensor (1/1.56-inch), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
For selfies and video calls, the device may sport a 50MP front-facing camera.
Battery and Charging
Powering the Vivo V60 is likely a 6,500mAh battery, supported by 90W fast charging.
This setup promises strong battery life and fast recharging, which aligns with the features of the Vivo S30.
The handset was also spotted on certification sites such as SIRIM and TÜV, further confirming the presence of 90W charging capability.
Other Features
Additional features expected in the Vivo V60 include an in-display fingerprint sensor and facial recognition support for biometric authentication.
These premium features further indicate that the V60 will target the upper mid-range segment.
Expected Price and Availability
Although the official price of the Vivo V60 in India has not been disclosed, its Chinese counterpart, the Vivo S30, launched with a starting price of CNY 2,699 (approximately ₹32,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The Indian pricing is expected to be in a similar range.
While Vivo has not officially confirmed the launch details, multiple leaks and certifications point toward a mid-August release in India.
With a powerful chipset, high-resolution display, flagship-level cameras, and the debut of OriginOS for global markets, the Vivo V60 could be a significant update in the brand’s lineup.
