The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has officially released the hall tickets for the Group 4 Combined Civil Services Examination 2025.

Candidates appearing for the exam can now download their admit cards from the official TNPSC website: from www.tnpscexams.in.

 

How to Download TNPSC Group 4 Hall Ticket 2025

To access the hall ticket, candidates should follow these steps:

1) Visit the official TNPSC website: www.tnpscexams.in or tnpsc.gov.in

2) Navigate to the ‘Exam Dashboard’ and click on Group IV Services.

3) On the next page, access the OTR (One Time Registration) Dashboard.

4) Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth to log in.

5) Once logged in, the hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.

6) Download and print the admit card for use on the exam day.

As per the official notice, the admit card—referred to as the “Memorandum of Admission”—can only be accessed through the OTR Dashboard using valid login credentials.

 

TNPSC Group 4 Exam Date and Timing

The TNPSC Group 4 preliminary examination is scheduled to take place on July 12, 2025 (Saturday). The exam will be held in a single shift from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, lasting for three hours.

 

Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme:

The written examination comprises 200 multiple-choice questions divided into three parts:

  • Part A: Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test – 100 questions
  • Part B: General Studies – 75 questions
  • Part C: Aptitude and Mental Ability – 25 questions

The total marks for the exam are 300. While Part A is in Tamil, Parts B and C will be available in both English and Tamil.

 

Recruitment Details:

This Group IV recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 3,935 vacancies across various state government departments. Some of the key positions include:

  • Village Administrative Officer (VAO) – 215 posts
  • Junior Assistant (Non-Security) – 1,621 posts
  • Junior Revenue Inspector – 239 posts
  • Typist – 1,099 posts
  • Steno-Typist (Grade III), Forest Guard, and other posts

There are a total of 25 different job roles under this recruitment.

 

Selection Process:

The selection is based on a single-stage written exam, followed by a document verification process.

Candidates who qualify the written test will be considered for final selection based on merit.

 

Important Advice for Candidates

Candidates are advised to download their hall tickets as soon as possible and verify all details mentioned on it, such as name, registration number, exam center, and timing.

It is mandatory to carry the printed hall ticket to the exam center along with a valid ID proof.
