Tecno Launches Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Pro 5G in India Under ₹20,000
Tecno has expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Pova 7 5G and Pova 7 Pro 5G.
Both smartphones are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, a 6,000mAh battery, and 45W fast charging.
Aimed at budget-conscious consumers, these 5G devices will be available on Flipkart starting July 10, offering multiple RAM and storage configurations.
Pricing and Color Options
The Tecno Pova 7 is priced at ₹14,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and ₹15,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option.
It will be available in three colors: Magic Silver, Oasis Green, and Geek Black.
The Pova 7 Pro is slightly more expensive, starting at ₹18,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and going up to ₹19,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model.
It will be offered in Dynamic Grey, Neon Cyan, and Geek Black.
Tecno Pova 7 Pro: Specifications and Features
The Tecno Pova 7 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and the phone comes with an IP64 rating for resistance to water and splashes.
Under the hood, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
In the camera department, the phone is equipped with a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, both supporting 4K video recording at 30fps.
The front houses a 13MP selfie camera, which also supports 4K 30fps video capture.
The phone runs on HiOS 15 based on Android 15, with 1 year of OS updates and 2 years of security patches promised.

It is powered by the same Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, but comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a secondary sensor, while the front camera is a 13MP shooter for selfies and video calls.
Like the Pro model, the Pova 7 runs on HiOS 15 based on Android 15, and carries the same software update promise.
It is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, although wireless charging is not supported.

In contrast to the official launch details, another Tecno listing mentions a different device configuration, possibly a future variant or error.
It lists the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor, a 7000mAh battery, and a 108MP + 2MP rear camera setup, alongside an 8MP front camera.
This model is said to have 16GB RAM (8GB + 8GB extended) and comes in color variants such as Gold, Grey, Black, Hyper Titanium, Magic Silver, and Geek Black.
Additional listed features include a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a suite of sensors like a gyroscope, infrared remote, and electronic compass.
