Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Specifications, Features and Price
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been launched in India with a starting price of ₹1,74,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant, going up to ₹2,10,999 for the top-end 16GB+1TB model.
Pre-orders began on July 9, 2025, with shipping starting from July 22 and general sales from July 25.
It features an ultra-thin, lightweight design (8.9 mm folded, 4.2 mm unfolded, 215 g) and comes in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jet Black, and a Mint variant exclusive to Samsung.com.
The Fold 7 sports a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8-inch main Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, both with 120Hz refresh rates and peak brightness of 2,600 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and Victus 2 respectively.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, it offers significant performance boosts over its predecessor and comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
It features a 200MP primary rear camera, along with 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP telephoto lenses, plus 10MP front cameras on both the cover and under the main display.
The 4,400mAh battery supports 25W wired, 15W wireless, and reverse wireless charging.
Running Android 16 with One UI 8, it includes advanced Galaxy AI features like real-time translation, object removal, Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and more.
The device is IP48-rated for dust and water resistance and offers dual SIM (nano + eSIM), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB-C 3.2 support, making it one of the most powerful and feature-rich foldables currently available in India.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 features a sleek, foldable design with dimensions of 153.5 × 132.6 × 5.6 mm when unfolded and 153.5 × 68.1 × 12.1 mm when folded, weighing 239 g.
It sports a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display with 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 2,600 nits brightness, along with a 6.3-inch HD+ cover display of the same technology and refresh rate.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 750 GPU, it comes with 12 GB RAM and storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB (UFS 4.0, no microSD support).
The triple rear camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor, 12 MP ultrawide, and 10 MP telephoto with 3× optical zoom and up to 30× digital zoom, while the cover selfie camera is 10 MP and the under-display inner camera is 4 MP.
It packs a 4,400 mAh battery with 25 W wired charging and offers up to 77 hours of music or 23 hours of video playback.
Audio is delivered via stereo speakers, and connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB-C. The device supports S Pen Fold Edition and S Pen Pro (no built-in silo), runs on Android 14 with One UI 6.x, and is upgradeable.
It includes features like Vision Booster and Galaxy AI tools such as Sketch to Image and Portrait Studio.
In India, it launched on July 10, 2023, with an MRP of ₹1,64,999 for the 256 GB variant, though online deals may lower the price to around ₹1,24,000 with exchange and bank offers.
