OnePlus Nord CE5 launched in India: Open Sale Begins July 12
The OnePlus Nord CE5 has officially made its debut in India today, July 8, at the OnePlus Summer Launch Event, as part of the newly launched Nord 5 series.
Available in three configurations—8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB—the OnePlus Nord CE5 starts at a launch price of ₹22,999, inclusive of a ₹2,000 instant bank discount.
The open sale is set to begin on July 12 at 12 AM, giving users the opportunity to grab the device at competitive pricing.
Design & Dimensions
The OnePlus Nord CE5 comes in three colors—Marble Mist, Black Infinity, and Nexus Blue—with each having subtle differences in thickness.
All versions share the same height and width of 16.358 cm and 7.602 cm, respectively.
The Marble Mist variant is slightly thicker at 0.827 cm, while the other two are 0.817 cm thick.
The phone weighs approximately 199g, offering a balanced and comfortable feel in hand.
Display
Equipped with a 6.77-inch AMOLED display (17.21 cm, measured diagonally), the OnePlus Nord CE5 delivers a resolution of 2392×1080 pixels with a pixel density of 387 PPI.
The screen-to-body ratio is an impressive 94.10%, and it has a cinematic 19.9:9 aspect ratio.
It supports HDR10+, sRGB, Display P3, and 10-bit color depth.
The screen offers peak brightness of 1430 nits, HBM at 1300 nits, and a typical brightness of 800 nits.
It features a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch response rate of up to 300Hz (default 120Hz), with certification for Netflix HD & HDR and Amazon Prime Video HD & HDR.
Display enhancements include Eye Comfort/Night Mode, Screen Color Mode, Auto/Manual Brightness, Bedtime Mode, and Dark Mode.
Processor and Operating system
Running on OxygenOS 15.0, based on Android 15, the Nord CE5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex processor.
RAM & Storage
Available variants are

RAM configurations include 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM (4266MHz), with virtual RAM expansion options: up to 8GB extra for the 8GB variant and up to 12GB extra for the 12GB model.
Storage is UFS 3.1 with 128GB or 256GB options, and a microSD card slot supports expansion up to 1TB.
Battery & Charging
The phone is powered by a massive 7100mAh lithium-ion polymer battery, ensuring extended usage throughout the day.
It supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, offering quick top-ups even for such a large battery capacity.
Cameras
The main rear camera features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with a 1/1.95″ sensor size, f/1.8 aperture and a 79° field of view.
It supports both contrast detection autofocus and phase detection autofocus, with OIS and EIS enabled.
The secondary 8MP ultra-wide lens uses the OmniVision OV08D10 sensor, featuring a 1/4″ sensor size, f/2.2 aperture, 112° field of view, and fixed focus.
Video recording includes 4K at 30/60fps, 1080p at 30/60fps, and 720p at 30fps.
Camera modes include Photo, Video, Portrait, Night, PRO, Panorama, SLO-MO, Dual-view video, Time-lapse, Hi-Res Scan, and Tilt-Shift.
Front Camera
The front camera uses a 16MP Sony IMX480 sensor with a pixel size of 1.0 micron, f/2.4 aperture and fixed focus.
EIS is supported for stabilization. It can shoot videos at 1080p (60/30fps) and 720p (30fps).
Connectivity
The phone supports dual nano-SIMs with hybrid slot functionality (either dual SIM or one SIM and one microSD up to 1TB).

Sensor suite includes a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
There’s also an infrared remote control feature.

The phone features a single bottom-firing speaker with noise cancellation support.

Image playback includes JPEG, BMP, PNG, DNG, HEIF, AVIF, and WEBP, while image output is in JPEG format.

The smartphone will be available in three storage configurations: the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹24,999, the 8GB + 256GB model at ₹26,999, and the top-end 12GB + 256GB version at ₹28,999.
