MG Motor India, under the JSW MG Motor partnership, is all set to introduce its most premium offering yet – the MG M9 electric luxury MPV.

Official pricing will be announced tomorrow, and the vehicle will be sold through the exclusive MG Select retail network.

Positioned as a flagship electric MPV, the M9 has already generated buzz with its impressive list of features and luxurious focus.

Design & Dimensions

The MG M9 is among the largest MPVs in India, measuring 5,270 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,840 mm in height.

A wheelbase of 3,200 mm translates to generous cabin space, especially in the rear.

MG has focused heavily on rear seat comfort, with the second row lengthened for improved legroom and easier ingress/egress.

Performance & Powertrain

Powering the M9 is a 90 kWh battery pack mounted under the floor, producing 245 bhp and 350 Nm of torque.

This all-electric setup ensures silent and smooth performance, while its size and configuration position it in a league of its own.

While official range details are yet to be confirmed, MG has already released a first-drive review and full-range test video, showcasing its real-world capabilities.

Bookings, Pricing & Rivals

Pre-bookings for the MG M9 are now open both online and at dealerships, with a reservation amount of ₹51,000.

While the official price announcement is awaited, ex-showroom pricing is expected to cross ₹90 lakh, placing it above most conventional MPVs in India.

It will compete indirectly with premium models like the Toyota Vellfire and the upcoming fourth-gen Kia Carnival, though its fully electric nature gives it a distinctive edge in the luxury MPV segment.
