Mahindra XUV 3XO RevX Launched in India Starts at ₹8.94 Lakh

Launch and Pricing

Mahindra & Mahindra has officially launched the XUV 3XO RevX trim line in the Indian market, with prices starting from ₹8.94 lakh (ex-showroom).

This new lineup is exclusively petrol-powered and slots in as a value-packed alternative to existing trims, featuring minor cosmetic updates and added equipment.

Bookings are now open both online and at authorized Mahindra dealerships, with deliveries expected to begin soon.

Variant Breakdown and Pricing

The RevX trim line includes four distinct variants:

  • RevX M      – ₹8.94 lakh
  • RevX M(O) – ₹9.44 lakh
  • RevX A       – ₹11.79 lakh
  • RevX A AT – ₹12.99 lakh

(All prices are ex-showroom)

The RevX M is based on the MX2 trim but adds more features while undercutting the MX2 Pro by around ₹60,000.

Similarly, the RevX M(O) is priced lower than the MX2 Pro despite enhancements.

The RevX A, derived from the mid-level AX5 trim, adds new features and is priced around ₹60,000 more.

Significantly, it lowers the entry point for the 131 hp turbo-petrol engine by approximately ₹83,000, which was earlier only available from the ₹12.62 lakh AX5L variant.

Engine & Performance

The XUV 3XO RevX trims are offered only with petrol engines. The RevX M and RevX M(O) are powered by a 1.2L TCMPFi turbocharged petrol engine, which delivers 82 kW (111 hp power) and 200 Nm of torque, paired only with a 6-speed manual transmission only.

This engine provides smooth urban performance, making it ideal for daily commuting and occasional highway runs.

On the other hand, the RevX A & RevX A At is a significant upgrade in terms of performance. It comes with a 1.2L mStallion 3-cylinder TGDi (Turbo Gasoline Direct Injection) turbo-petrol engine, producing 96 kW (131 hp power) and 230 Nm of torque, offering noticeably quicker acceleration and better overall responsiveness.

This variant is available with both manual and automatic transmission options.

Exterior Design and Styling

All three RevX variants share a common design language that features a dual-tone paint scheme, body-coloured grille (or Gunmetal Grey for Stealth Black), and RevX-specific badges.

The RevX M comes with 16-inch steel wheels with black covers, while the RevX M(O) steps up with 16-inch piano black-painted alloy wheels, giving it a more premium look.

The RevX A retains these alloy wheels but adds subtle enhancements to differentiate itself as the top variant.

All variants feature LED tail lamps, LED indicators on ORVMs, and signature LED DRLs, but the headlamp setup improves across variants.

All RevX trims come with a dual-tone paint scheme and are available in five colours:

Tango Red, Everest White, and Galaxy Grey – with a contrasting black roof

Nebula Blue and Stealth Black – with a contrasting grey roof

Sunroof and Roof Styling

The RevX M offers a single-pane sunroof, while the RevX M(O) and RevX A feature a more impressive panoramic skyroof, giving a sense of openness and luxury inside the cabin.

This is a key distinguishing feature for buyers seeking a more premium experience.

Interior Features and Cabin Design

Inside, all variants come with black leatherette upholstery and the same general layout.

The RevX M features a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 4 speakers, manual climate control, and front & rear power windows.

It also offers basic comfort features like driver seat height adjust, 60:40 split rear seat, front armrest with storage, and USB-A (front) & USB-C (rear) ports.

The RevX M(O) significantly enhances the cabin experience with twin 10.25-inch screens – one for infotainment and the other for a fully digital instrument cluster and leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob.

It also adds a wireless charger, Adrenox Connect with built-in Alexa, and online navigation for a more connected drive.

The RevX A, being the top-spec variant, retains all these features and additionally comes with more powerful engine options and the choice of automatic transmission, enhancing overall refinement and driving experience.

Technology & Connectivity

There is a clear hierarchy in terms of tech features across the variants. The RevX M includes essentials like a 10.25-inch touchscreen, steering-mounted controls, and remote keyless entry.

The RevX M(O) enhances this with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push-button start, passive keyless entry, and the Adrenox Connect system with built-in Alexa.

The RevX A inherits all tech features from M(O). This includes Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), automatic headlamps and wipers, rearview camera, and rear wiper with defogger and washer – creating a fully modern driving experience.

Safety Features

Safety is strong across all RevX variants. All three trims are equipped with 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ISOFIX mounts, reverse parking sensors, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, seatbelt reminders, front seatbelt height adjust, and electronic trumpet horn.

The RevX M(O) and RevX A go a step further with features like TPMS, rearview camera, rear wiper & washer, and auto headlights/wipers, adding layers of safety and convenience for daily drives and long journeys.

Comfort and Convenience

In terms of comfort, the RevX M provides essential features like driver seat height adjust, adjustable rear headrests (including for the middle passenger), and rear armrest with cup holders.

The RevX M(O) enhances convenience with cruise control, auto-folding ORVMs, and wireless charging, while the RevX A ensures maximum comfort with its automatic transmission option, especially useful for city traffic.

Dimensions and Practical Specs

All three variants share the same dimensions: 3990 mm length, 1821 mm width, and 1647 mm height, with a 2600 mm wheelbase.

Fuel tank capacity is 42 litres, and all variants feature front disc and rear disc brakes.

Suspension is consistent across variants with McPherson struts in the front and twist beam setup at the rear.

Tyres differ slightly based on the variant –

  • Steel wheels with 205/65 R16 on RevX M,
  • Alloys of same size on RevX M(O),
  • Potentially larger 215/55 R17 alloys on higher trims.

Key Differences at a Glance

RevX M: Best for budget-conscious buyers looking for style and essential features, with a strong safety suite.

RevX M(O): Great value with a significant jump in premium features, panoramic sunroof, advanced infotainment, and tech features.

RevX A: Ideal for performance-focused buyers who want everything – better engine, option of automatic transmission, and all top-end features.
